Share your LinkedIn profile with its new QR code feature. To help make networking even easier, on the app’s search bar you’ll now see a QR scanner as well as your own code. Saves a business card when networking in real-life. (via Engadget).
There are twice as many daily users on Insta Stories than Snapchat’s. When Instagram first launched its Stories, did you ever believe it’d take over Snap’s? Well, it’s happened and now counts 400 million daily users to Snapchat’s 191 million! It’s probably time to up your Instagram game! (via CNBC).
Snapchat’s opening up commerce to Snap Influencers. We knew it was only a matter of time, now Snapchat is rolling out the function to its biggest Influencers, starting with Kylie Jenner. You can buy her products by swiping up in her video story, and users can add and choose to save their credit card and shipping information in Snapchat. (via DigiDay).
Are Insta Stories getting a questions feature? Just when you thought Stories couldn’t get any more engaging, this update would be the icing on the cake. At the moment, Instagram just appears to be beta testing this function to Android users but if rolled out, it’d be a great way to stop users from mindlessly tapping through your Stories.
